WordPress for Android 1.0 has been released.
Features include the ability to:
- Configure and manage multiple blogs
- Comment moderation including the ability to reply to comments
- Create and Edit Posts including categories, tags and photos
- Create and Edit Pages
- Get notified of new comments in the Android notification bar

No Sense Of Scale
The space on the homepage was 470 x 120. The image given by the client was 470 x 800, about an even mix of text and non-text. The instructions from the client when the discrepancy was pointed out:
“Just squish it down, it’ll look fine.”

Clients from Hell
After having delivered an eCommerce site to a client, he called me on the phone, explaining that he had experienced some problems ordering products. While on the phone, I explained to him that I would do a test order to see if I could reconstruct the problem he experienced. The ordering went fine, but suddenly he says
Client: “Wow, I got an order from you here. You want that Jacuzzi? I’d suggest [some Jacuzzi name] instead!”
Me: “As I explained to you, that was a test order. I don’t want any Jacuzzi”
Client: “Well, you ordered one, now you have to pay. I’ll just take it of your invoice.”
